Upkeep Furniture opens fourth retail outlet in Parkhead.

Upkeep has opened a fourth retail outlet in Parkhead and is open for buisness now!! You can find us at 40 Westmuir Street, Parkhead, just a short walk from Parkhead Cross and the Forge Shopping Centre. Upkeep furniture has become a charity called Upkeep Recycling

Upkeep Recycling will be responsible for the work carried out by Upkeep Furniture which sells low cost but high quality reused furniture, white goods and electricals at its four shops across the city in Easterhouse, Rutherglen, Shettleston and at our new store in Parkhead. Read more

Upkeep & Repaint - Painting the town 'Green'

Upkeep is embarking on an exciting new Partnership with our friends at Castle Repaint. RePaint is 100% made from partially used paint that otherwise would have been put into landfill. Castle RePaint works closely with Local Authorities, Waste Management Companies and communities to re-use as much paint as possible. Read more

Upkeep is PAT certified

Customers buying electrical goods from Upkeep Furniture can do so safe in the knowledge that all items are PAT tested to industry standards by a qualified PAT Tester. PAT stands for Portable Appliance Testing.

This is an electrical safety inspection used to comply with the Electricity At Work Regulations 1989.

Upkeep Joins National Reuse Line

Upkeep Furniture has teamed up with Zero Waste Scotland and The Wise Group on its relaunch of the 'National Reuse Line'. This will enable Upkeep to divert even more furniture from landfill and help the Scottish government meet its targets for Reuse and Recycling. Read more

Upkeep Furniture Easterhouse

Upkeep Furniture officially opened its doors to the people of Easterhouse on 24th November 2011. This is Upkeep's second project shop and early indications show that it will be as popular with the local community as its Shettleston counterpart.
